We brought this midcentury post and beam home into the twenty-first century. The customer had a great vision for what they wanted. The living room wall was end to end windows with fantastic views to the wall separating the kitchen from the rest of the home was removed and replaced with a laminated timer beam. A large island is perfect for entertaining and we built a custom curved range hood to the customers specifications with walnut accents to match the countertops. The gas fireplace was completely torn down and replaced with an electric fireplace and sunken tv nook. We used a large fir timber for the mantle and porcelain tile across the hearth.
